PRESENTED FOR AUCTION IS A RARE 1953 BELL TELEPHONE DIRECTORY. THIS DIRECTORY IS DATED APRIL 1953 & HAS OVER 200 PAGES. THE FIRST SECTION HAS 105 PAGES (ALPHABETICAL DIRECTORY), THE SECOND SECTION HAS 117 PAGES (CLASSIFIED-YELLOW PAGES). THIS WONDERFUL BOOK MEASURES 6" X 9" & IS IN VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. THE SPINE IS FIRMLY ATTACHED, NO STAINS OR WRITING. THERE ARE YELLOWING PAGES DUE TO AGE & THE BACK COVER HAS 2 CORNERS OFF & THE LAST 14 PAGES HAVE THE LOWER CORNER OFF (DETERIORATION). THERE ARE GREAT ADVERTISEMENTS & A 1953 & 1954 CALENDAR IN THE BOOK.
