These are 100% guaranteed MINT CONDITION reprinted copies of the December 1953 1st issue of Playboy Magazine.  This reprint was available in limited quantities (20,000 copies) and became one of the most sought-after Playboy collectibles in history.  This reprint is an exact replica down to the type of paper and ink used, as well as printing method.  There are only two (2) minor differences between the reprint and the original to prevent deception:  1). The reprint has 3 staples in the spine, whereas the original has only two.  2). The reprint has a black rectangle in the upper-right corner of the magazine.  The 1953 original has a black square box.  Everything else is identical to the original 1953 first issue of Playboy including all articles, photos, jokes, advertisements, etc.

All magazines were immediately stored in an acid-free clear plastic mylar sleeve and backed with acid-free cardstock for protection.  They have been properly stored in a low humidity, pet & smoke free environment and handled only once.  There are NO tears, creases, bends, folds, fraying, loose or rusted staples, stains or writing.  Magazines will be carefully handled and properly packaged to ensure safe delivery (see picture & packaging details below).
