Offering for auction a Wonderful Dunhill Shell Briar LBS F/T Estate Pipe!  The pipe is marked "LBS F/T Dunhill Shell Briar Made in England 4 Pat. No. 417574/34  4S"  I believe these markings date the pipe to 1954.  The stem has one white dot.  Beautiful estate pipe in wonderful condition! Excellent graining and color on the shell briar bowl.  The bit has some wear from teeth marks.  No cracks! No breaks! No damage other then the teeth marks as mentioned.  Some color fade to the black stem.  The pipe has been smoked and has not been cleaned. It has some minor rim soot.  The bowl is awesome!  The pipe is approximately 5-3/4" long.  The bowl is 1-7/8" tall.  The ID of the chamber is 3/4".  The weight of the pipe with the stem is 48 grams or 1.69 oz.
