You are bidding on one OBW original bank wrapped, sealed, never-opened, very old uncirculated roll of 1955 Bright RED Lincoln Wheat cents. Printed on this roll is "The Chase Manhattan Bank", "50 Pennies", "Mfg'd by Sattley Co. of New York, Inc". Also stamped on the roll is the lettering "55P" which seems to be unique as I haven't come across too many rolls that have had that. On one end the 1955 looks very nice and bright red and would grade in the mid MS I'm assuming. On the other end is a mystery as it has some sort of little seal or cap covering the penny. I recently purchased these in a very old large collection. I will be listing many other sealed original bank wrapped rolls soon.

We all know the desire to own THE 1955 DOUBLE DIE. Finding one of these in just MS-65 would bring about $50,000! There is always the possibility of one or more being within a roll like these. Even the poor man's double die is very sought after and much more common to be found especially in a nice old roll like this.

Also available are the following: bright red BU 1936 (almost a full roll), bright red BU 1942 (a half roll), and bright red BU 1945 S (a complete full roll). All of these are in coin safe tubes taken out of their wrappers from long ago. I will be listing these coins as individuals soon as well as more OBW original bank wrapped rolls of various dates. I guarantee these to be SEALED original BANK WRAPPED ROLLS and offer a full refund of your money to back up my claim so long as these would be returned in the same matter as shipped to you unopened.

Pennies seem to be a good investment to make especially since 2009 pennies are now being designed differently to commemorate the 100 year design of the Lincoln penny.
