1955 P UNC Poor Man's Double Die Lincoln Wheat Penny

In our opinion, this coin would be graded MS66+.

This coin is guaranteed to be authentic and represents what is known as a Poor Man's Double Die.

POOR MAN'S DOUBLE DIE

This coin is caused by die hub doubling. Basically the coin die shifted during the striking of the coin causing the doubling.

As seen in the pictures, the doubling is most evident on the last digit ('5'). The doubled portion looks flat and almost weak.

This coin comes inside a sonically sealed, hard plastic case with a unique serial number, and hologram! This is a beautiful piece and not to be passed up by collectors!!
