 PRETTY BARGAIN COPPER-NICKEL COIN!

  • Nice copper-nickel One Penny issue from Fiji
  • Traces of remaining sparkle and a hint of attractive gold at very rim edge that highlights nicely
  • Fairly minimal marks for the grade but for a bag mark on right rim edge at about 4 o'clock
  • This coin which was made with a center hole will make a terrific piece of Fiji history for any collection!

The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this large ONE PENNY coin from FIJI, issued in 1956.  Naturally pretty copper-nickel coin with nice even remaining luster and better than average eye appeal. Very solid example of this One Penny issue that was made with a hole center. Fairly minimal marks but for a bag mark on the right edge of the obverse at 4 o'clock. Obverse depicts crown and legend: QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND. Reverse value, date and origin. Click on Auction Bear below to view our current auctions. This extra fine 1956 One Penny Coin from Fiji has a low starting bid price.
