1956 Gibson Les Paul Junior Jr Vintage Guitar

Here is a vintage 1956 Gibson Les Paul Jr. The guitar appears all original with no breaks or repairs. It shows plenty of play wear, checking, and dents. It still has the original tuners and the holes have not been widened. The nickel plating on the bridge is worn and there are some light grooves from the strings. The electronics check out and the truss rod works just fine. The frets appear original and show a lot of wear. There are some light buzzes coming from the lower register and few in the middle of the neck. The new owner will want to address the frets at some point, but ultimately the guitar still plays very well. It weighs in at 7.6 lbs. It is very loud acoustically. It has a mid-range harmonic type of sound to it, so it has a lot of mid-range color. It also has a nice top end and good bass response without being overly bright or dark. Overall it is a complete guitar that hasn't been messed with, just played. Ships in a late '70s Gibson case.
