Chances are slim you will ever find an original 1956 federal electric siren in the original box with the original mounting hardware packet which was never opened until I checked the contents There is no evidence on the mounting bracket of ever being mounted .It is 6 volt works perfect and looking through the openings looks like new . no rust whatsoever not even the little screws . There is shelf wear the top of the box was open all these years . . So there is trace pitting of chrome and polish scratches that were probably there from the factory .
