This 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser Convertible was created for me in the mid-90's by Joe Wheat's Memory Lane Models. The car is not a true promo, but was created as part of the Memory Lane line, not seen much any more.  The car was custom painted in black over Fiesta Red, created quite a nice image.  I think you could have ordered a real Mercury in this color scheme and it would have created quite a stir.  I have posed it with Danbury's red/black 1957 Ford Skyliner for interest.  Shipping is $10.00 insured priority mail in USA, international with be $24.00.

PLEASE NOTE:  I HAVE DETERMINED IN EXAMINING THIS MODEL THAT 1/2 OF ONE WING ORNAMENT ON TOP OF THE FRONT FENDER IS BROKEN OFF.  THIS DOES NOT REALLY IMPACT THE IMAGE BUT YOU SEE IT IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY.
