         Protocasters are the best of yesteryear's Fender Stratocaster featuring a wider 9.5" radius fingerboard, hotter pickups, and push-in tremolo as opposed to the screw in style. We're proud to offer these fine instruments in our store. Once you play it, you never want to put it down. You will not find these guitars just anywhere. We have had a relationship with the builder for over 15 years.

Product Features:

-Thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish
-Clay dots (my recipe)
-Bone nut
-Russian surplus .047 tone cap
-Wilkinson push-arm tremolo
-Wilkinson Doubleline tuners
-Tonerider TRS2 City Limits pickups (these have a nice Stevie Ray Vaughn sound to my ears, and they are extremely touch sensitive; strongly dynamic)
-Volume bleed kit (preserves the highs as the volume is rolled off)
-Custom rounded fretboard join like those from 59-62ish
-Weighs a hair under seven pounds
-0.952" at the first fret
-0.972" at the twelfth fret
-With a nut width just a hair over 1 5/8"
-The neck is large, but exceptionally comfortable. The edges have been very heavily rolled and the frets have been replaced with a 6105ish type (0.092" width, 0.048 crown height).
