Condition - There are illustrations throughout the book to aid understanding. The book is complete. The black leatherette cover cloth is split along the front and back cover hinge and appears to have been reglued but is splitting again as this is a heavy thick book and once weakened as it has been will need additional support and careful handling. Strips of black tape, possibly electrical tape, placed lengthwise down both hinge bends may be beneficial to add strength and not overly detract in appearance, but this will be left to your discretion. Inside, the front and back cover inner hinge areas have been overlaid with glued on paper strips to add support to the inner cover hinges. The cloth at the top and bottom of the spine edges is also slightly frayed and the cover corners are bumped with worn through cloth exposing the cover board at all four corner tips. The book is also a former library book with a white ink paint catalog number in the spine edge and library ink stamps on the front end page and on the inside of the back cover where there is also paper residue from the removed library card sleeve and due date slip. An light ink stamp library marking is on the bottom of title page and ink written catalog numbers are on the copyright page. The pages of the text are tightly bound and in excellent condition with no torn, missing, loose, creased or marked pages. The condition of this book is less than desirable but if is the information that you are looking for, the book is loaded. There is not only a great deal of information on sheet metal patterns and layouts but also much information of roofing, gutters, skylights and related subjects. The condition, as described, may make this book more affordable than usual.
