Store format auction: Store auctions are set to approval only for bids to prevent the scam artists from being able to end the listing. If you'd like to bid or make an offer, just send me a note and let me know and I can approve you. This has to be done on a listing by listing basis, I've had a few people that was just too complicated for, but if you want to bid on several items you'll need to let me know just which ones. Thanks for your understanding.
Restorable, Hot Rod, Rat rod project: 1960 Doormobile camper. This uses an English Bedford truck chassis and drivetrain, it has a fiberglass top and steel body. Inside is a sink, stove, folding seats. The same folks later made campers for the Volkswagen Bus. Top on this pops up, hinged on one side. Very small camper, will not be comfortable for larger or taller folks to try to drive or use. Body is in fair shape, mechanical unknown. One corner of top has some damage, but fiberglass is fairly easy to work with. Complete and rolling on four wheels, some people can't tell because of the skirts. Fairly rare piece in the US or England.
Terms: 10% or $500, whichever is greater, deposit up front, not refundable. Sold As-Is, this is an old car and has rust issues, buyers are welcome and invited to inspect cars in person prior to bidding in case there are problems which I am not aware of. 30 days storage is included with the car, more time can be arranged in advance on cars that are paid in full at $50/month. Time is flexible depending on weather concerns. Unresponsive or uncooperative buyers may be assessed $10 per day storage if necessary, but we try not to let things get to that point.
How to pay: Check, cash in person, money order(s).
NOTE: Cashiers checks only accepted for the exact amount of the transaction. They must be able to be verified by the issuing bank before being accepted.

eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
