This is a truly great 1960's design. 


This stunning Modernist Freeform Platter was designed and Handmade by the famous

 

Glass works of Bergdala Sweden -



Bergdala is a small glassworks which has been in business in Sweden's


 Smaland province since 1889.Whilst well known in Scandinavia and Europe, it is hard to


 find in Australia. I don't believe it was ever sold here at least in quantity so these pieces


 have probably arrived with immigrants
