For their second British LP, the Springfields went to Nashville to record an assortment of country and folk songs given a slight pop sheen. Getting a British group to record in America was an unusual idea when the British Invasion had yet to break. But the results were uninspired, even corny country-pop-folk, and not particularly appealing to either the country or folk audience. The selection of covers was certainly eclectic, including Mike Settle's "Settle Down," "Greenback Dollar" (co-written by Hoyt Axton), "Cottonfields," "Midnight Special," and "Wabash Cannonball."

With new post office rates 1-5 LPS has gone up but atleast USPS is now allowing the Priority Flate Rate boxes to be used international. You are allowed up to 20 pounds and i was just able to fit 15 LPS in one. And this was of course after i boxed the 15 LPS in a professional record mailer before putting in USPS's Priority box so no worry about protection. For those outside the USA that like to buy multiple records to save on shipping this flate rate international box will help.
