You are bidding on a Very Nice 1963 Vintage Gibson SG Special.  This is a Classic Gibson Guitar.  Plays and Sounds Great...Killer Tone.  One of the BEST sounding Specials I have ever heard.  The Original P-90's are awsome.  This guitar has been used but not abused. No Breaks or Cracks in the Headstock,Neck or Body.  Nice Checking and patina along with some nicks and minor dings. Back side is very Nice as well as the Neck is smooth. Neck has a D shape to it but not too fatty.  Very Comfortable. Body and Neck have Original Finish with No signs of overspray.  Guitar can be used with or without Tremolo.  Bridge is a wrap around.  Butter Knife Tremolo Blade whammy bar.  The guitar had a Vintage Lyre Tremolo on it...tiny screw holes slightly visable and can be filled in easily.  The headstock did have Groovers on it at one time.  The Originals were in the case when I rec'd the guitar years ago and have been put back on.  Truss rod works.   Plastic appears to be all original.  Electronics work Great and also appear to be original.  Pots are Old and have solder on them, I can only read one w/o taking them out (I wont touch that)...it reads 13763x4 500k.  The rest look about the same. The Stamped serial number on the back of the headstock reads  1431xx.  Purple Lined Gibson Case is in Good shape.  Good Luck Bidding !!!The Nut Width is 1 5/8 inch
