1st - - The 1964 - 2006 mint sets .Each end every set is in the original US Mint packaging as issued with Certificates of Authenticity with issued sets.. Unless otherwise noted - each set is a 10 coin set containing the sealed Uncirculated versions of both the P and D mints of the Half, quarter, dime, nickel and cent (from 1973 - 1981, P and D dollar coins were also included)
All these sets from 1964 -2006 are in the original US Mint packaging as listed and pictured below. . . 43 consecutive years !!!
1964 - - a one year issue set in the original white envelope of issue... Contains the 1st year of the Kennedy half and the only year the Kenndy half was produced in 90% SILVER - -- - Both P and D - - also contains the 90% SILVER dimes and quarters - along with the nickels & cents from both mints - ALL UNCIRCULATED. 10 coin set . Last year for 90% silver coins
BONUS * 1965 - 1967 - - -in these 3 years there were no regular mint sets minted so I am including the Special Mint sets for these 3 years which contain prooflike coins. The halves are 40% Silver.
1968 - 1969 mint sets in the original white envelopes. The P packet also includes the S mint Lincoln cent and Jefferson nickel. The D halves are 40% Silver. There were no P mint halves in these years
1970 Mint set - contains the SCARCE 1970D 40% Silver Kennedy half. . High demand as Kenndy halves were not released in any other form in 1970 - ONLY in these original mint sets. A large % of 1970 mint sets have been broken up to obtain the halves for Kenndy half dollar collections. Also of course contains the P & D issues of the quarter, dime, nickel and cent in original white envelope.There were no P mint halves produced in 1970. Also an S mint cent..
1971 - 1972 mint set in the original white envelopes. standard 10 coin. The P packet also includes the S mint Lincoln cent.
1973 mint set - contains the SCARCE 1973 P & D Eisenhower dollars. . Similar to the 1970D halves - - the 1973 Ike dollars were not released in any other form - ONLY in these original mint sets. The 1975 and 1976 sets contain the popular bicentennial issues of the Ikes, halves and quarters. .The 1973 & 1974 sets also contain a S cent. 12 coin sets

1979 - 1981 - - - in original white envelopes - - each set contains uncirculated examples of both P & D issues of the Susan B Anthony dollar, half dollar, quarter, dime, nickel and cent . . The 1980 and 1981 sets also contain the the S mint Susan B dollar (13 coin sets)
1982 and 1983 - there were no US Mint sets produced in these 2 years
1984 - 1986 mint sets in the original brownish envelopes. Standard 10 coin sets. The 1986 is a tough KEY date
1987 mint sets in the original red and white envelope. Contains the KEY date very rare 1987 P and D halves. Like the 1970D Kennedy halves - these scarce halves were only produced for these original US Mint sets and were not released nor made available in any other form. Standard 10 coin sets.
1988 - 1994 mint sets in the original multi colored envelopes - each year a different color. . Standard 10 coin sets.
1995 mint set - - one of the most scarce and valuable of all mint sets !
1996 mint set - KEY date. In addition to the regular 10 BU coins that are usually included - the 1996 also contains a rare Roosevelt dime with a W mintmark struck at the West Point mint commemorating the 50th year of this Roosevelt dime. This 1996W dime is unique and a one year only issue that was only produced for these original US Mint sets and were not released nor made available in any other form. The 1996W dime comes in a seperate mint sealed packet
1997 - 1998 mint sets in the original multi colored envelopes . Standard 10 coin sets.
1999 - 1st year of the state quarters!! An 18 coin set in the original red and blue envelopes. . Contains the usual P and D packets of half, dime, nickel and cent. . Then also contains 2 packets of the 1st year P and D state quarters - - DE, PA, NJ, GA, and Conn
2000- - a huge 20 coin set in the original red and blue envelopes. - 2nd year of the state quarters and 1st year of the Sacagawea golden dollar. ALL in BU UNCIRULATED condition.
