Each passage of music given introduces elements essential to the manner of playing this outstanding group, and is of sufficient length to provide excellent practice material. The chord progressions employed are typical of the songs associated with the Beatles.

Section One contains music to familiarize you with the style of Rhythm Guitar, showing a large number of Beatles beats.

Section Two consists of Lead Guitar passages in the Beatles style.

Section Three demonstrates the use of the four-string electric bass guitar, showing the various figures employed to produce the characteristic sound.

Chord symbols are used throughout the music to indicate the progressions. There is a chart of fingered diagrams on Page 2, giving all of the chords used in the book.
