"About 40 years ago, after many years as a mint employee, my grand dad left his job at a mint in Denver in 1967 with some special coin gifts from the director and other employees.  His estate journal and papers said he received several special coins, including a coin he had worked on in total secrecy in 1964, and early 1965, in the 'trolley building' across from the main mint ... just kidding."  

No Peace dollar was minted for circulation in 1964! But take a look at the photos; who would know? This cut coin money clip creation pictured sure is convincing, isn’t it?  It should; it is a genuine Peace dollar coin! In fact, it's made from two Peace dollars.

This cut coin pictured is an authentic and genuine U.S. Peace dollar and came from general circulation. This cut coin is a one-of-a-kind combination of more than one real U.S. Peace Dollar.  The craftsman skillfully combined an actual numeral “9” from one Peace Dollar by inverting, and attaching it to the space in the date creating this super artwork piece.  Perfectly aligned. Entirely convincing to the naked eye.
