THIS GUITAR WAS LOOKED AT BY EXPERST IN BOTH NASHVILLE AND NEW YORK IT IS UNMOLESTED ALL ORIGINAL FENDER STRATOCASTER, THERE ARE MANY STRATS FOR SALE BUT USUALLY THEY ALL HAVE SOMETHING THAT WAS DONE TO THEM, NOT THIS ONE,EVRYTHING ORIGINAL
This guitar has the date December 13, 1965 on the headstock. (CBS Broadcaster Company bought Fender in January 1965. 1964 and 1965 brought some changes to the Fender Stratocaster. By mid-1964, the peghead "Fender" logo changed from the petite "spaghetti" logo to a more bold "transition" logo. and late 1964/early 1965 brought a change in pickguard material from the mint-green celluloid to a more stark white ABS plastic. These changes, and the enlargement of the Strat's peghead signify transition)
This guitar features the larger "f" logo and the larger peg head. It also has the white plastic as opposed to the mint green celluloid.
