You are bidding on a 1965 Fender Vibrolux with cover.

This Fender Vibrolux was purchased at Arthur’s Music Store in Indianapolis, IN.

From the inventory card, we can see that the amp was ordered for stock on January 21, 1965, was received from Fender on July 6, 1965 and purchased October 9, 1965.

• Period Cover (Not original but from same era. Cover is for a 2X12.)
• Original Footswitch
• Original grille cloth with no tears, rips, or snags
• Original Oxford Speakers #465-501
• Aftermarket casters (older)
• Original Tolex covering has shrunk at the seams in some areas. The top right back corner has about a ¼” split. This is due to age, the covering has not been damaged.

The original footswitch has paint loss and some mild rust. (see pics)

The power cable is original and has some splits in the outer wrap. Because it does not have a ground, it really should be replaced anyway.

·        1-RCA 12AT7, 1-RCA 12AX7A, 1- 12AZ7, 2-RCA 7025, 1- Electron 5AR4, 2- 6L6 (They look like 6L6’s but have no numbers or brand or any markings.)

This sweet vintage amp is very clean and works just as it should. If you are familiar with this amp, you will know that the tone is fantastic. You really can’t get more iconic than mid 60’s Fender Reverb and Tremolo, and the warm tubes break up nicely for that perfect Rock-n-Roll grit! Would make a killer stage amp...plenty of power without lugging a big 2x12” around!
