The bearing edges are immaculate on this mint piece of history, the wrap is tight & lustrously preserved for the future, and the hardware is bright & shiny (there is wax residue visible on some of the threads-there is no oxidation on the hardware).
The white Ludwig enamel inside is completely original. There is no date stamp, but with its tight, original badge (number 150083), it was most certainly produced in 1965. The baseball bat muffler works effortlessly. The snare strainer is the 20+ snare strand model with the script Ludwig name, though Ludwig is not so visible in the picture, it is engraved in both ends.
This historical piece has been preserved from the past, and is PREPARED for the future! You will not be disapointed with this drum for years, and years (and YEARS) to come.
