NEW ZEALAND, CENTRAL AMERICAN AND SOUTH AMERICAN CUSTOMERS...
Items
are not available for sale to Central and South America. I have had too
many problems shipping to those regions so I no longer offer my items
for sale there. If you live in New Zealand, please contact me about
purchasing a particular item. For some reason Ebay believes that you
are part of South America!
AT THE CLOSE OF AUCTION YOU WILL BE INVOICED…
either
by Ebay or by myself. Most of the items I list now, already have a
shipping calculator attached to them to allow the buyer to complete the
transaction without having to be invoiced by me. Some items, however,
are either too large or heavy or just a strange shape and won't have
the shipping provided. These items I will invoice directly as they have
to be boxed first to provide an accurate shipping cost. They will be
invoiced within 48 hours from the close time of the auction. PLEASE, PLEASE
give us a chance to get the invoice out to you prior to you before you
make an arbitrary payment. That way you will have an accurate shipping
cost and there won’t be additional delays in the event you haven’t paid
enough to cover the shipping costs.

you send US currency you do so at your own risk. I do not condone
sending currency in the mail but if you feel the need to do so I might
suggest that you consider doing a deposit into my designated bank
account first if you have a branch of Bank of America close to you.

U.S. Buyers:
I can accept the following payment methods:

- DEPOSIT to my designated Bank of America bank account. (a quick, inexpensive alternative to sending a money order)
- PERSONAL/BUSINESS CHECKS: I am willing to accept personal / business checks drawn off of a United States financial institution, however there will be a 10 business day holding period
on shipping your item to insure the check has cleared your bank. All
checks must be in US Dollars only. As an alternative I might suggest
using option 3 if you wish to have the item ship quicker.
International Buyers:
I can accept the following payment methods:

- BANK-TO-BANK WIRE TRANSFER to my designated Bank of America account (involves an additional fee - ask for details)
- CANADIAN BUYERS ONLY: I will also accept Canada Post Money Orders in US DOLLARS ONLY - available from CANADIAN POST OFFICES
PAYMENT IS REQUIRED WITHIN 10 CALENDAR DAYS…

the date the auction closes. If payment has not
been received, nor any communication from the buyer within 10 calendar
days from the close of auction, then an UNPAID ITEM DISPUTE will be
filed with Ebay. If the buyer fails to respond during the Dispute
Period and/or fails to pay for the item, then the dispute will be
closed and the buyer will receive an Unpaid Item Strike. Unpaid item
Strikes can cause the buyer to receive restrictions on further
purchasing on Ebay as well as possible expulsion from Ebay all
together. The item will then be re-listed, or offered to the next
highest bidder as a Second Chance Offer.
Ebay
takes non-payment of
items very seriously so it is important to let me know if there is a
problem sending payment of your item. All though frowned upon by Ebay,
there are outside services available to buyers to remit payment quickly
as a last resort. If you live in an area where there is a branch of
Bank of America, then completing payment is as easy as making a deposit
into my designated Bank of America account.
If there is a problem I’d like to avoid eBay’s
Dispute Resolution and hopefully work something out. This is where good
communication is so important.

Effective May 12, 2008 the US Post Office has raised it's shipping
rates again. I have no doubt that UPS will follow suit if it hasn't all
ready. Most of my items now carry a shipping calculator for you to
figure out shipping ahead of time. This is located at the bottom of the
item listing. Items that are large or bulky or an odd shape will not have the shipping
calculator available and if you require shipping costs on such an item
they will be only an estimate. I do not box these items until they have actually sold.
SHIPPING MORE THAN ONE ITEM TOGETHER...
We
want to save you money on shipping! We are more than happy to ship
multiple purchases together as long as they can be shipped together.
For example a power steering pump and a clock couldn't be shipped
together because the pump would crush the clock. We will do the best we
can to arrange the cheapest possible shipping for you when it is
possible to do so with the shipping plans we offer.
ITEMS ARE PACKED FOR SHIPPING ONCE THE ITEM HAS SOLD…
We
will make every effort to provide as close as an estimate as possible
when asked, however the weight could differentiate slightly depending
on the size of the item and consequently the kind and amount of packing
material necessary to insure a safe delivery to the buyer.
The following shipping methods are the ONLY
methods by which we ship our items. Even if the item you purchased is
very small, be prepared that it will be sent USPS Priority Mail. We do
this to insure items reach you quickly and provide a tracking ability.
By bidding on this item you have fully agreed to our shipping terms and
the associated costs with shipping your item.
SHIPPING METHODS...
We proudly ship all of our items with the United
States Postal Service. The only exception will be items too large,
bulky, or heavy for the US Postal Service to accept and these few items
will be offered via United Parcel Service.

Due to the additional documentation necessary for overseas shipments
(and it can be extensive) extra time may be needed to process
international shipments. Remember, I have no control over the shipping
of the item once it has been deposited at my local post office. I
personally drop all packages off at my local post office. On
international shipments once the item has arrived in your country there
is nothing I can do to expedite the item through your customs nor get
your postal service to deliver it any quicker. Also some countries
charge a hefty tariff when importing goods from overseas. Again I have
no control over this and it is up to you the buyer to be aware that
some purchases may be taxed by your country. If you have special
shipping instructions for your item, please let me know and I will do
my best to follow them as long as they do not violate any postal
regulations.
Once items are paid, they are shipped as quickly as possible. No
shipping will occur on Sundays, Mondays or Holidays, or if I happen to
be on a business buying trip. If there are delays in shipping for any
reason the buyer will be notified.
INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE…
and will be offered and quoted on all invoices. If insurance is
declined by the buyer and the item becomes damaged or lost in transit
the item becomes the full responsibility of the buyer. Only purchasing
the insurance will protect the buyer in the event of damage, theft or
loss in transit. Due to some unscrupulous buyers, I have now been forced to
make some changes to my insurance policy. Items that are glass, made
of (or mostly made of) plastic or fragile or delicate items will now
be required to carry insurance and the cost will be included in the
