'66 Cub Loboy in good condition but needs a little work. I bought this recently at a business liquidation auction and have decided to sell it due to a lack of time and interest. I was going to sell the accessories seperately and keep the tractor to tinker with but now I'm just going to keep it together and sell it as is. The tractor includes the Woods 42 mower and and the factory one point fast hitch, which is designed to accept different implements.
The engine starts right up and idles nice but runs rough when you rev it up. Sometimes it revs right up and runs great. It seems like a carburetor issue, but I'm not going to spend any time tuning it up. The engine sounds solid with just a wisp of white smoke at startup. The previous owner had this tractor for many years and never had any trouble with it, but it's been sitting for a while and will need fine tuned.
The PTO, hydraulics, and all the gears work properly. The brakes need adjusted or replaced as both pedals go all the way down, but they do stop the tractor.
Most of the yellow paint is original with some touch up mostly around the engine. The white hood has been repainted. The Woods mower deck isn't nearly as old as the tractor and looks to be fairly recent. The front tires hold air but are dry rotted pretty bad. The rear tires are in good condition.
Overall this is a neat old tractor that could be very nice with a little tlc. I considered parting out the deck and the fast hitch and having a fairly inexpensive tractor left over to play with. Instead I'm selling it to the high bidder as-is, to be picked up at my house in Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Sorry but I have no way of loading it on a flat bed and you will have to bring a truck or trailer capable of ground loading.
Only payment methods are Paypal in advance or cash at pickup. Thanks for looking.
