1967 LITE BRITE


You are bidding on a vintage 1967 Lite-Brite console with peg screen, working bulb, 376 colored pegs, and 8 blank refill pages. The refill pages have not been used. The pages are not perfect, but are in good usable condition. Some of them are just a litte rough on one end, where the refill package was open, but not too bad.

 

The console says 1967 Hasbro ® Patent Pending, Model 5455, 110 volt 40 watt. The box says that it operates with a 25 watt bulb. I don't know what wattage bulb is in the unit right now. On the lower right front of the box, it also says 1967 Hassenfeld Bros. Inc., Pawtucket, R.I., U.S.A. With the patent pending, I assume that this is one of the first Lite-Brites.
