1968 Yield House Catalog - Furniture/Accessories (Odd!) |

This is an 8 3/8" by 10 7/8" catalog from Yield House of North Conway NH, dated 1968. It has 64 pages filled with furniture and decorative items for the home, much of it in the Early American style but there are also some very unique and unusual items that would have appealed to the Hippies (or Hippie wanna-be's) of the era. The covers and six pages inside are in full color, but the rest are printed in two-color format. Some of the items are: book racks, gun cases, Campbell's Soup kitchen accessories, beer signs, hutches, TV stands, psychedelic pillows, a lamp made to look like a candlestick telephone, antelope suede neckties, magazine racks, four different Poster Dresses (actual paper dresses -- eyeball, rocket, rose, cat), bar signs, fireplace accessories, a Mr. Peanut peanut butter maker, accessories for one's avocado kitchen, Peanuts characters collectibles, coonskin cap, even some real antique copperware and inflatable people and dogs to put in your car so it doesn't look like you're traveling alone. A very strange mix of fuddy-duddy to Groovy!! (Please see "Condition", below, and be sure to view the pictures.)
CONDITION: Covers have light edge and corner wear and some soil, with some tiny tears. Top edge of all pages have a very faint water stain. No pages have stuck together.
