By 1970, the muscle car craze of the sixties was breathing its final gasps. But there were a few more surprises left from Plymouth, (the Hemi-cuda), Chevrolet, (the Chevelle SS 454), and of course Ford with the Huge block 429 and 428 CI engines. This thing had at least 360 horsepower and was the BOSS of the road. It was all engine, brute force seat-of-the-pants power.

Interestingly, Danbury and Franklin Mint both have models of the 428 Mach 1 Mustangs. Danbury chose to paint theirs Yellow with black interior and black stripes. If you wanted to be seen, or want your model to be seen, this is the way to go. As usual, Danbury trumped the competition with gorgeous detail inside and out. The stance is more accurate on this car than the FM models as well. One look at the engine detail and you can start to drool. It is only an indication of the details that went into this car! While they beg for comparison, if you can only have one, this Danbury is a MUST!

This car is in MINT CONDITION and probably was never displayed. It comes packed in the Styrofoam Liner and Outer Box. Paperwork includes the Certificate of Title and Care and Use Instructions. Don't miss this terrific car. You won't be disappointed.
