Offered is an extremely rare original 1st and only print concert poster promoting the GRATEFUL DEAD at The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago in 1970. Also scheduled to appear were It's a Beautiful Day, Rare Bird, and a Bijou Comix show starring Jayzey Lynch, Skip Williamson, Robert Crumb, Gilbert Shelton, and Daniel Clyne. This beautiful poster was designed by Chicago underground cartoonist Daniel Clyne and is featured in the Art of Rock on page 398, plate 4.202. It measures approximately 17 1/4" x 22 1/4" and is being offered in VG++ condition with a very soft horizontal crease in the middle and very minor handling wear. The poster has had professional restoration by Chameleon Restoration located in NYC to repair pin holes in the corners and 3" tear on the middle of the right border.
