Detailed
Description
Here is an elegant vintage Platinum 22 pen in the
short design.
The clip is a spring hinge type so it easily adjusts
to any pocket width, and prevents the pen from falling out of
your pocket.
Shortly after Pilot launched the pocket pen style
with their Elete whcih started a craze fad in Japan, Platinum
and Sailor were looking for ways to grab some of the market. Sailor
tried launching a pocket pen with a 21K gold nib. Platinum raised
the stakes with this 22Kgold nib pen. Sailor would top them off
with a 23K gold pen, but by then the fad was fading. Today, finding
either the 22K or 23K pens is very difficult.
The sleek capband has the name Platinum under the gold inlay 22
These pens are fantastic writers, and I always have
one of these in my briefcase.
Also note that We have just moved from Okinawa to Tokushima. I am still unpacking boxes, but I wanted to start up the pen business again as quickly as possible. I'd like to thank everyone who sent mail, supporting us during the move.
On March 14th I had the broadband internet installed, and I am still working out the kinks. I can receive mail to my rd@kamakurapens.com account, but the provider is not letting me send mail out this way. For now I am using doctork@mb.pikara.ne.jp or kamakurapens@gmail.com. I bring this up because recently, many scam artists have sent mail to my bidders posing as me. If you receive a mail from someone posing as a member of kamakurapens, but is using a different e-mail, be very suspicious and send a message to me through ebay.

Also keep in mind
that you only need to pay shipping once for an order.
If you win one item and intend to bid on more, simply
let us know and we will hold your pens and ship them
all together to save you money. Also it is true that
we often ship bonus items with our orders. No Parker
Snakes or solid gold overlay pens, nothing like that,
but always something interesting. So if you receive
all your pens and find something extra, it wasn't
a mistake. Keep in mind that a bonus is simply that.
Do not bid, expecting one, and we certainly can not
take orders on what someone thinks their bonus should
be, but we do like to make sure our bidders are always
happy and completely satisfied with their wins. |
