VINTAGE LUDWIG DRUM SET...ALL OVERSIZED DRUMS IN THE HARD TO FIND BLACK AND SILVER/ BLACK OYSTER/BOWLING BALL  FINISH.

THESE ARE RARE TO FIND IN THIS KIND OF CONDIITION...EXCEPTIONAL.

THESE ARE MY VERY OWN PERSONAL DRUMS.

I HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR 41 YEARS.

I HAVE HAD THESE SINCE 10TH GRADE IN 1971.

I BOUGHT THEM NEW AND HAVE USED THEM ON MANY GIGS BUT THEY WERE ALWAYS KEPT IN THEIR HUMES AND BERG CASES AND ARE IN EXELLENT SHAPE THE HARDWARE HAS BEEN UP GRADED TO ALL NEWER LUDIWG HEAVIER DUTY TOM TOM MOUNTS AND BASS DRUM SPURS.

THE 1971 VERSION OF THE MOUNTS AND SPURS WERE VERY FLIMSEY COMPARED TO TODAYS HARDWARE.

ALL REPLACEMENTS ARE ORIGINAL LUDWIG.

DRUM SIZES ARE AS FOLLOWS.

SNARE DRUM IS A LUDWIG CROME 6.5" DEEP X 14"ROUND THAT IS WORTH 400.00+ ALONE

BASS DRUM IS A 14"DEEP X 24" ROUND

TOM TOM #1 - 9" DEEP X 13" ROUND

TOM TOM #2 - 10" DEEP X 14" ROUND

FLOOR TOM #1 16" DEEP X18"ROUND

FLOOR TOM #2  18"DEEP X 20"ROUND...THATS RIGHT,THESE ARE ALL OVERSIZED DRUMS.

SPECIAL ORDERED IN 1971 WHEN I WAS IN TENTH GRADE. WHEN LUDWIG WAS AT THE PEAK OF POPULARITY. 

THEY ARE BEING SOLD WITH THEIR HUMES & BERG CASES .

THEY WILL BE SHIPPED IN THEIR CASES BUYER PAYS ALL SHIPPING AND PACKING CHARGES INCLUDING INSURANCE

ALL DRUMS ARE IN REALLY GREAT CONDITION FOR THEIR AGE.

SOME LITE SCRATCHES ON THE BASS DRUM HOOPS THAT CAN BE RE PAINTED IF YOU LIKE.

THE INLAYS ON THE HOOPS ARE LIKE NEW.

NO NOTICABLE SCRATCHES ON ANY OF THE DRUMS.

NO EXTRA HOLES.

NO PITTED LUGS.

THE SNARE SOUNDS GREAT,IT DOES HAVE SOME LITE PITTING WHICH IS PRETTY NORMAL FOR METAL SNARES ...IT IS NOT EVEN NOTICABLE.

THE SNARE HAS ONE LITTLE MARK ABOUT THE SIZE OF A BB...IT SOUNDS ABSOLUTLY INCREDABLE.

THE DRUMS ARE AT LEAST A 9.5 OUT OF TEN.

I HAVE HAD PEOPLE ASK ME IF THEY WERE NEW!

THE SHELLS ARE MAPLE EXCEPT FOR THE LARGE FLOOR TOM.

IT SEEMS TO BE MAHOGANY.

I DO NOT THINK I HAVE EVER SEEN A SET THIS COLOR THIS NICE.

I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAVE REALLY TAKEN CARE OF THE DRUMS.

ALL HAVE REMO PINSTRIPE HEADS EXCEPT THE BASS DRUM HAS AQUARIAN SUPER KICK 2 HEAD AND AN ORIGINAL LUDWIG FRONT HEAD

RIMS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE.

AUCTION IS FOR DRUMS AND CASES ONLY.

TOM TOM MOUNT AND BASS DRUM SPURS ARE INCLUDED

CASES ARE INCLUDED

NO OTHER HARDWARE.

ALL DRUM HEADS ARE IN A1 SHAPE.

IF YOU WIN THE DRUMS I WILL HAVE THEM PACKAGED PROFESSIONALLY AND WILL SHIP THE DRUMS IN THE CASES INSIDE A BOX OR I MAY DELIVER IF YOU ARE IN A REASONABLE AREA...THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE FOR THIS.

FINAL SHIPPING WILL BE DETERMINED AFTER EACH DRUM IS PACKED AND WEIGHED.
