eBay store listing. This isn't a traditional auction, instead of bidding, this has an asking price which we'll take or people can make an offer against it which we review. Because I have to use Buy it Now on these, I set them to require approval to bid - it's the only way to keep scam artists from ending the listing (eBay makes it real tough to get the fees back). So if you're interested in this item, please shoot me an email before you try to offer or buy it. Thanks for your understanding..
Hot Rod/Rat Rod/muscle car project: 1972 Plymouth Sattelite. Solid shell with some damage to right front. Floors fair, some rot to left front pan. Bench seat car, no motor or trans, was 400/automatic. Hard to find these at all, and this one is not bad for the northeast although you west coast guys may not think so - but it's not really any worse than the one Barry White built on From Wrecks to Riches a year or so back. We did find a Road Runner hood which is in pretty good shape except one hole cut into it which is going to require some careful welding - it's included with the car. Clone a GTX or Road Runner or build a street legal NASCAR type stock car clone with it. Richard Petty, Pete Hamilton, Herschell McGriff, and Gordon Johncock all drove '72 Plymouths at one point or another during the season, and Dave Marcis and Fred Lorenzen both drove the STP #99 '71 Plymouth the year before.
If you don't like the price, sorry, but try to find another one like it in the east. I know Barry White got a better one for less money on Wrecks to Riches, but they also don't rot as much on the west coast.
Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or $500 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for $50 per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, $10 per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. We're not unreasonable, but we do need to run this as a proper business.
.
How to pay: Check, cash in person, money order(s).
NOTE: Cashiers checks only accepted for the exact amount of the transaction. They must be able to be verified by the issuing bank before being accepted.

eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
