This item up for auction is an 1973 SPI (Simulations Publications Inc) Game "Desert War". Finding games like this still sealed with unpunched pieces is very rare! This item is still sealed has never been opened and remains new in the box! The lower left hand corner of the box is slightly damaged but the overall condition of this item is near mint. Desert War is a historical simulation of the tactical combat in North Africa from 1940 to 1943. The seenarios show several common situations involving German, British, and Italian Units. The combination of situations with varying forces allow innumerable amount of different scenarios to be played. This game was the first to use the SiMov system. Check out my other items!
