Up for auction is a bronze medallion and first day cover commemorating the bicentennial celebration of the American Revolution.  It is dated July 4, 1976 and comes with a coin which has a bust of Thomas Jefferson on the obverse and a depiction of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the reverse.  The coin is in mint condition and is packed in its original packaging and comes with an outline of the history of Jefferson's role in the signing of the Declaration and of the establishment of Declaration itself.   The medallion measures 1 7/8" in diameter.  Please email me with any questions regarding this item.
