One of the rarest sets from the late 1970's. Reportedly, only 1100 production sets were made, and two player, Lois and Palmer, were initially put on the wrong cards. Many future major leaguers including Ed Whitson, Dale Berra, Mike Easler, Jim Nettles and Dave Augustine are pictured here. This is the complete set, including the error cards. Unfortunately, since I was a kid when I got these cards in 1977, I pen wrote some stats on the back of the cards, as depicted in the lower right card pictured. The cards themselves are in excellent to near mint condition, but the pen markings on the back clearly discount the value somewhat. This set normally sells for $350, IF YOU CAN FIND IT!!
