The item for auction is a 1977 SUPERSTAR BARBIE IN ORIGINAL DRESS AND BOA, WITH ORIGINAL RHINESTONE EARRINGS and RING.
This SuperStar Barbie has very nice facial makeup. Her body is a lovely pink color. She has had her hair restyled into half pulled back style. Her hair is bright and shiny, perhaps a little frizzy on some ends. The dolls arms and head move appropriately and hold poses. Her knees bend and hold three positions.
Her dress is in good condition - some soiling, have not tried to clean. Boa is nice. Doll has her original rhinestone earrings and ring (missing necklace). These are in very good condition. She wears narrow heel hot pink shoes in place of her original strappy shoes were were missing. These shoes have solid bottoms, are marked Hong Kong and were produced by Mattel in the 1980s.
