In the 1980's a new short-lived system for viewing movies was created. These discs (much larger than today's DVDs–almost the size of an LP record)) produced a much higher quality picture and sound than video tape, but never quite caught on. Today, players and discs using this system are no longer being produced, and can only be obtained second-hand. There are web sites that offer parts for the players, and the discs have become collectors' items.

These discs are used, and come in their original paper-labeled plastic sleeves. There is some shelf wear and rubbing, as well as some light soiling, but they are otherwise in good shape. I do not have a laserdisc player, so I have no way to test the quality of the discs themselves. Great collectors' item even if you are not able to play them!
