Welcome to the 2009 Football Season. We all know how last years Super Bowl ended up. So how about a ring from the Defending World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers. I have for you this week a Very Rare 1978 Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl World Championship 10K Ring. This is a 200 % Authentic Real Jostens Salesman Sample Ring. The word "salesman sample" really gets over used in the hobby of Championship Rings as of late. For the record a Real Authentic Salesman Sample Ring is a Ring cast from the SAME die cut molds as the Real player's rings by the Same Maker of the Real Players Rings. They All should have the "Proper Manufacture Markings" as the players ring would and would sometimes contain serial numbers and other stampings or engravings. Too many plain fakes, copies and replica and knock off rings get called salesman samples and they are NOT. You can't call a ring that someone in another country copies and makes hundreds of them and call them a "salesman sample ring". They are fakes plain and simple. There is a difference between a Real Manufacture Sample and a knock off trust me.


This Very Rare REAL Salesman Sample Ring I have for sale was made by the same company that made all of the player rings. This company was the Jostens Ring Company. The Ring on the inside is marked with the "Proper Manufacture Markings" that Jostens uses for all of their Real Samples. Usually you can tell fake samples from real samples as the detailing on the fakes usually aren't that crisp and clean. Don't confuse this ring with all of those cheap fakes selling for around $400 that are made in another country. This is a REAL JOSTENS SAMPLE.

Keep in mind this Ring would be EXACTLY Identical to the Ring Terry Bradshaw would have been presented except his ring would have Real diamonds on it and this Real Jostens Sample ring has CZs. Other than that the ring was made from the same die cut mold as his ring was made and his ring would have been 10k Gold too, All made by Jostens.

This is the closet thing you will find to an actual players ring. In July of 2008 a Real 1974 and 1975 Steelers Super Bowl Rings both from a person who worked on staff for the Steelers went for $32,751 and $34,100 on ebay. Later that month a Real 1978 Players Ring went for $25,201 and in February of 2009 a Real 1979 Players ring went for 25,099.00 on ebay. So when ever a Steelers Super Bowl Ring hit the market they do not go cheap. This Real Salesman Sample Ring would make an excellent alterative to a real players ring about 5 times less than the cost of a Real Players Ring.




This Rare Ring is a size 11 and weighs in at a Very Heavy 40.9 grams of 10K. Inside of the ring is marked with the Jostens "Proper Manufacture Markings" this being © JOSTENS 10K. There also a serial number of B 8448-001 engraved on the inside of the ring.

Since its 10K gold any good jeweler can resize it.
