1979 Bergamot Motorcycle Belt Buckle

This belt buckle is made by Bergamot Brass Works in the USA in 1979 as noted on the back of the buckle.  It appears to be of some type of cast white metal (not sure whether it is pewter or not).  The buckle measures about  3.5" by about 3.75".  I am uncertain of the brand or type of motorcycle that it represents but I would guess it to be one of the British brands such as BSA or Triumph or such.

The belt buckle is in used condition and some of the finish is quite rubbed in places as can be seen in the photo below.  However, there is no damage to the piece beyond the cosmetic finish wear.
