1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard

Up for auction, a great looking vintage 1979 Les Paul Standard.  This guitar is in good overall shape and is all original with the exception of the tuning keys.  This guitar has some light marks, small dings and finish wear from normal play and handling.  There is a small chip in the paint on the back of the neck just below the headstock.  In addition, there is some wear in the paint on the rear contour.  It has never had a headstock repair or other major issue.

Action is low and the guitar is a nice player.  The electronics sound crisp and the volume and tone knobs are smooth and responsive.  Frets show a bit of wear but still have some life left in them.  The neck looks straight.  This auction includes what appears to be the original case, which is in rather poor shape.
