1979 Mary McCranks Dinner House Recipe Book Chehalis WA

As many of us old timer's in Lewis County, Washington, I had the pleasure of knowing Mary McCrank, back in the day when she was active in her restaurant, and until shortly before her death she would wander through the restaurant visiting with everyone, making sure everything was up to her high standard in presentation, taste, and service. She started serving her customers way back in 1935, family style.  The restaurant is still open today, the same location, just remodeled for today's motif. Not exactly, the Old farmhouse atmosphere that it was back then, but still the great service and food. This cookbook, entitled For Goodness Sake, Mary McCrank's Diner House Recipes, by Margaret E. Terrell, designed and illustrated by Stephen Lancaster. This is a first Edition, and is signed by Mary McCrank, herself. 121 pages complete includes index.
