1980 Bally Space Invaders Pinball Machine

• machine works 100%
• original manual included

Boards:

• all ground modifications have been done to the circuit boards including replacing the 2 large capacitors on the solenoid board
• High voltage section of the solenoid board has been completely rebuilt with all new parts
• all header pins and connectors have been replaced on the power board
• bridge rectifiers upgraded to 35 amps for more power reliability
• new fuse clips installed on the power board for the General Illumination
• the power boards in these games are always the weak link and are always burnt up.  This one is fully rebuilt and bullet-proofed and works like new again.
• displays are very bright with no burn marks or segments missing and work 100%
• remote battery holder installed on the MPU to save high scores
• any tarnished header pins and connectors have been replaced on all boards

Cabinet:

• completely cleaned inside and out
• has a few nicks and scrapes here and there but looks pretty good overall
• Black back box black trim surround has been repainted
• coin door has been disassembled, cleaned, and polished (including every frame bolt) and looks outstanding

Playfield:

• completely stripped of all parts and polished extensively to bring out the amazing shine and then waxed
• all parts completely cleaned
• all plastics are flat with no warping and look excellent.  So much better than a playfield full of curvy, warped plastics.
• Middle playfield horseshoe plastic has some wear from the ball traveling underneath it.
• all switches have been cleaned for reliable operation
• under the playfield inserts have been cleaned with a Q-tip
• all silver metal parts have been polished to a like new shine including every screw
• a few areas of the playfield have been touched up
• there is some wear in the center of the playfield and a few small areas have been touched up in the blue and black areas (a couple quarter sized spots)
• there is also a dime sized spot of wear past the flippers, going into the ball return.
• black circles around some inserts have been touched up
• This playfield is much better than most with only the few spots of wear that have been touched up.  The touch ups are not very noticeable unless you look for them.
• glass was removed for picture taking

Backglass:

• Mint condition
• no flaking or missing paint
• 10/10 condition
• Looks incredible when lit up.  One of the most stunning backglasses of all time

Other NEW Parts:

• all rubbers
• lock and key
• sleeves and springs on almost all coils under the playfield
• pinball
• inner and outer springs for the ball shooter
• new pop bumper caps (all seven).  These are always burnt on this game.  This is a very nice upgrade as these new caps can no longer be found.
• new sockets in all 7 pop bumper caps
• new high current switches on all flippers
• new sockets under the playfield where needed
