Tony Thomas is a nationally known pianist/organist/keyboardist, currently based in Memphis; Although he has performed and/or recorded in nearly every musical genre (ranging from Country to Rock and even Grand Opera!), he is known best as a Jazz artist. Improvisation is his forte. He is a five-time winner of the N.A.R.A.S (the “Grammy People”) Premier Player Award for Keyboards and/or Piano and was inducted recently into that organization’s Premier Player Hall of Fame. He has recorded literally thousands of commercial music tracks as well as cuts with Joe Walsh, U2, Jimi Jamison (lead singer of the band “Survivor”) and, most recently, an album of Standards with internationally known Opera Star, Kallen Esperian. Tony has performed with Al Jarreau, David Sanborn, Hank Crawford, and the late Richard “Groove” Holmes. He is also an accomplished piano technician with 30+ years experience

If a sale is subsequently consumated, seller will provide a reimbursement allowance for some direct expenses related to making a visit to see and play the piano. For visitors, "on the ground time & turn around time" in Memphis can be kept to 3 hours or less if necessary and still allow adequate time for inspection and discussion. Shipping, Delivery, Insurance and Set up cost are determined not only by distance but also by access at the delivery point, i.e. lst level, stairs, landings, number of steps, sharp turns, access to the street and driveway, etc. Cost for these services can be roughly estimated @ $0.95 - $1.25 per mile.
Sales Tax: There is no sales tax charged on a piano or the shipping unless you live in Tennessee, Arkansas, or Mississippi. These savings usually covers most if not all of the shipping, set up, and insurance charges.
