You are bidding on Amoco Chemicals Corporation Bulletin IP-76a, "Blistering: The Causes and Cures", dated in the mid to late 1980's. The 12 page publication provides detailed information regarding gelcoat blistering on boats/in maritime fabrication, laminating resins as a potential cause, and isopolyesters (isophthalic polyesters) as a "cure."
Included is a typed letter from an inquiry clerk at Amoco explaining that Amoco makes the chemical intermediate used in high quality isophthalic polyesters and advising the customer to consult their boat maker regarding the resins used in the boat they are purchasing.
The piece is in good condition, however, there is underlining in pen on the second page.
