The item you are viewing is a 1981 Los Angeles Benge Trumpet. The model number is 2x+ and it has a .464 bore. The serial number is 381XX.

 

The story behind this horn is unbelievable, but it is the truth.

 

This trumpet was purchased by a Benge dealer in 1981. When the dealer moved his store to a new location in the following years, this horn, along with 3 others, was placed in a storage room until they settled into the store. The horn was forgotten for 25 years until an employee stumbled across it when searching for a guitar in the same storage room. The horn had tarnished through the years, but had never been sold or displayed.

 

We have cleaned and polished the horn to its original state and we are offering it on e-Bay.

Included with the horn is the original warranty card and care package.

 

There is one small dent in the crook of the bell that we did not remove due to a risk of damaging the finish.
