Very popular and SCARCE 1981-S Type 2 SBA Susan B Anthony Dollar certified and slabbed by PCGS as a near perfect PR69 DEEP CAMEO . Commonly , although mistakenly (read below) referred to as the  " Clear S " mintmark. An absolute gorgeous HIGH quality frosted black / white coin with deep liquid mirrors and excellent eye appeal. You will love this coin.  . Pictured is the actual coin being offered


 

READ !! IMPORTANT INFO- When considering purchasing 1981 T2 Proof sets - Unlike the 1979S which is fairly easy to distinguish between the T1 and T2 , the 1981S is a different story. . Unless you are 100% confident in YOUR ability to distinguish the 1981S T1 from T2 - - -only buy this coin slabbed or from a dealer that you are 100% confident in HIS ability to distinguish the 1981S T1 from T2 . . I firmly believe that as many as 90% of all 1981S T2's that are sold are actually a variety of the T1. . Yes - a $10 set being sold for over $300. Think others or yourself were getting bargains when paying under $200 for non-certified 1981S T2 coins - - THINK AGAIN !! . . Believe me - - i attend a few dozen coin shows per year plus that many auctions plus that many coin shops - - i have viewed hundreds or possibly thousands of 1981S coinsthat are being sold as T2 and probably about 90% are T1 !!! Most people, including dealers, do not know how distinguish T1 from T2. . By the way - - i have purchased around 1/2 dozen off of ebay - - all but one were sent back as all but that one were T1 . Believe it or not - one of the main reasons for the confusion in differenciating the 1981S T1 from T2 is the repeated use of calling the T2 a "clear S" which is a proper term for the 1979S T2 but only adds to the confusion of the 1981S !!!! The coins offered in this auction are absolutely 100% guaranteed T2 coins  ! I know the difference and so does PCGS
