The Bible of cookbooks!  Copyright 1978, 1969; 1982 7th printing.  New and revised edition with microwave recipes.  400 pages with numerous talbes and charts.  Profusely illustrated.  Book appears to have never been used.  It is in like new condition with a tight binding, and no rips, tears, creases, dirt or writing.  One cover corner is slightly bumped.  Outstanding copy of this collectable cookbook.

Now the fine print.  Please read every paragraph.  Your bid is your acceptance of and agreement with all terms and conditions below.  If you DO NOT AGREE with one or more of them please DO NOT BID on my auction:

Items: I acquire almost all of my items from thrift shops, garage sales and estate auctions.  I fully describe them including any flaws or blemishes.  However, I do not know their history or whether they are from smoke- and/or pet-free homes.  Occasionally I pick up new items – those will be clearly stated as such.  If you have questions please ask them BEFORE bidding.  Additional pictures are available upon request.  Include your email address and specify which area of the item or camera angle you are interested in.

During the auction: I do not use Buy It Now.  I do not end auctions early.  Please do not waste your time or mine by asking for them.

Invoices and Payment: I will send you an invoice within 24 hours of end of auction, usually within 1 hour.  Please do not make your payment until you have received it.  Please use the eBay checkout system for notifying me of payment.  Your response to my invoice is due within 3 days, and payment is due in 7 days.  I prefer money orders, also accept checks and PAYPAL.  When paying by money order or check be sure to identify the item you have purchased by auction title and number.  I understand that problems arise - we all have them.  If you have a problem LET ME KNOW so we can work it out.  COMMUNICATION is the key.   If you have neither paid for your item nor discussed a problem with me by 8 days after receipt of the invoice I will file a notice of non-payment with eBay and post negative feedback for you.  I will not wish to do that but must be fair to all the good paying bidders out there.

Feedback: I do not hold your feedback hostage - I provide positive feedback upon receipt of confirmed payment.   I would appreciate your doing the same once you have received your item.  As noted above I post negative feedback for all non-paying auction winners.

Combined Shipping: I am happy to combine shipping on multiple item auction wins.  Please wait for your combined invoice which will have a reduced shipping total when compared to the individual auction shipping charges. 

Shipping and Tracking: I ship Monday through Friday via U.S. Postal Service ONLY.  Please do not ask for shipment by UPS or FedEx as they are not convenient.  Items paid for by money orders or PAYPAL will be shipped the next business day (occasionally the 2^nd business day) after receipt of payment.  Checks will be held until they clear.  Shipping will be either Parcel Post or Priority Mail, your choice.  If 1^st Class Mail or Media Mail is applicable to the item because of weight or type, they will be provided as choices on the invoice.  I will notify you via eBay message when shipment is made.  I charge a small handling fee.  If you desire tracking of your item add $0.75 to the shipping charge on the invoice and tell me that you are requesting tracking.  I will provide you the tracking number in the message notifying you of shipment.

International Payment and Shipping: I sell and ship worldwide.  Non-U.S. payments must be made with PAYPAL.  I mark all non-U.S. shipments as merchandise on customs forms – please do not ask me to mark them as gifts.

Returns and Refunds: While I do my utmost to accurately describe my items I may occasionally make a mistake or overlook something.   A refund will be provided if I made a gross error in the description of the item and will consist of the eBay sale price for the item.  I do not refund shipping charges.

Insurance: I am not responsible for what the Postal Service does with your item once they have possession of it.  While I am an expert packer (please examine my feedback comments on my high packing quality and bid with confidence) and will do my utmost to get your item to you safely I recommend you purchase insurance to protect your item.  Insurance is an option on the invoice for U.S. bidders.  Insurance is not available for non-U.S. shipments by 1^st Class Mail International.  Insurance coverage of $75.00 is automatically provided for Priority Mail International shipments.

Delivery: Since I ship within 1 (or occasionally 2) days of receiving cleared payment I do not contribute to delays in you receiving your item.  Please remember that if you have chosen Parcel Post or Media Mail as your shipping method that items can often take 10-20 business days to reach you.  In holiday periods those shipping times will be further delayed.  I know you are anxious to receive your item but please be patient.
