This beautiful plate was produced in 1984 as part of the Joy of Christmas Series by Precious moments. This particular plate is called The Wonder of Christmas. In additoin to the title info in the back, it also says "Each bas-relief porcelain plate is hand painted to duplicate exactly the artistry of Sam Butcher and Bill Biel, the creators of Precious Moments. This edition is limited to plates produced during the year of issue." It is also stamped with the signatures of William Biel and Sam Butcher. The front of this plate is in perfect condition but the back is pretty marked up with some black marks. I don't know what they are. The plate measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter.
