1985 TOKAI ATE-'52 VINTAGE TELECASTER - NO RESERVE

Back in the 80s, Japan was the largest supplier of quality electric guitars in the world.  Even Fender guitars had discontinued American made Strats and Teles until about 1985 with the introduction of the first American Standard series guitars.  The ATE-'52 is a recreation of a custom 1952 Telecaster.  Two tone sunburst is the finish with an alder body.  The ATE-'52 had the option for a rosewood fingerboard (which this one has).

STATE OF THE GUITAR:  The ATE-'52 is in great shape considering it's age.  There are a good amount of scratches on the pick guard but the guitar itself is in great condition.  There are only a few dings, scuffs or scrapes on the guitar with mild surface scratching.  A couple of dings are through the finish to the wood but these are very few.

The guitar includes a tweed hard shell case.

A: It comes with it's original tweed case. They didn't make cheap copies back then... at least Tokai didn't anyway.

 Q: BTW the guitar is not 34 years old. It is 24 years old. 2009-1985=24 (years) :) You may wish to change your titling. Cheers.
A: That's what I get for trying to figure it out in my head with a calculator right within reach. I don't need that stupid calculator. ;-)
