1986 Longaberger Candy Cane Basket Red Stripe Christmas











I am selling a 1986 Longaberger Christmas Collection Candy Cane Basket.  This has been in my smoke free home 23 years.  This is a rare hard to find basket.  This basket has a metal plate on the front that says:

                                                                            Longaberger

                                                                      Christmas Collection

                                                                            1986 Edition

                                                                    Candy Cane Basket

 

This basket has the red striped wood.  The initials on the bottom are BAC or BAR....hard to read the last letter.  It is marked 1986.

This basket has a flaw....and I have adjusted the price because of it.  There is a crack in the handle, right at the curve.  It isn't all the way through but it is about half the depth of the handle  thickness.  I wish that it wasn't there, but it is.  If you look close, you will see it on my third pic.

Bid now and use it to decorate for Christmas!
