How about yet another RARE Championship Ring for sale this week!! I have for you this week a Very Rare 1986 NY Giants Super Bowl World Championship 10K Ring. This is a 200 % Authentic Real Salesman Sample Ring. The word "salesman sample" really gets over used in the hobby of Championship Rings as of late. For the record a Real Authentic Salesman Sample Ring is a Ring cast from the SAME die cut molds as the Real player's rings by the Same Maker of the Real Players Rings. They All should have the "Proper Manufacture Markings" as the players ring would and would sometimes contain serial numbers and other stampings or engravings. Too many plain fakes, copies and replica and knock off rings get called salesman samples and they are NOT. You can't call a ring that someone in another country copies and makes hundreds of them and call them a "salesman sample ring". They are fakes plain and simple. There is a difference between a Real Manufacture Sample and a knock off trust me.


This Very Rare REAL Salesman Sample Ring I have for sale was made by the same company that made all of the player rings. This company was the Jostens Ring Company. The Ring on the inside is marked with the "Proper Manufacture Markings" that Jostens uses for all of their Real Samples. I also bought 2 more different Salesman Samples Super Bowl Rings from this same person and I will be selling later on ebay. Usually you can tell fake samples from real samples as the detailing on the fakes usually aren't that crisp and clean. But in the case of the 1986 Giants samples there are some real good looking fakes and the ONLY way to tell the difference for sure is to look for those all important markings inside of the ring. Most fakes will just have 10K or nothing at all.


Keep in mind this Ring would be EXACTLY like the Ring Bill Parcells and Lawrence Taylor would own except theirs would have Real diamonds on it and this real sample ring has CZs. Other than that the ring was made from the same die cut mold as their rings were made all made by Jostens.

This Rare Ring is a size 13 and weighs in at a Very Heavy 44.2 grams of 10K. Inside of the ring is marked with the Jostens "Proper Manufacture Markings"

Since its 10K gold any good jeweler can resize it. The ring does show a bit of wear as it seems the previous person who owned this ring wore it a bit. The ring is not in MINT condition. There are some scratches on the left side of the blue stone. Since this was a real Jostens sample ring the back part of the ring was cut out about 1/4 of an inch as most Jostens samples are the person who had it last had the back of the ring filled in with gold and they didn't do the best job so if you have to resize the ring your jeweler will be able to make the palm side of the ring look a bit better. When you wear the ring you can't see the bottom or the palm side of the ring anyway. Still a very nice Real Sample ring as you can see in the photos. I have seen fake 86 Giants sample rings with NO Jostens markings at all selling for over $4000.00 so the price I am selling this Real Jostens Sample with the Real Jostens Markings is a heck of a bargain and reflects the condition of ring for a quick sale. If this Real Jostens Sample Ring had been in MINT condition this ring would be selling for well over $7500.00.


I have been selling rings for a while now and I have an excellent reputation for selling only the Best of Championship Rings. They may not be the cheapest rings out there but they are 200% Real.
