This is an extremely rare vintage original 1987, “ BLACK PEARLS OF TAHITI” Book that has 109 pages of text and beautiful color pictures that tell you all you need to know about the black pearls of Polynesia, their history, how they are produced, their characteristics, how to evaluate pearls for beauty and price and how pearls are used as jewelry, plus a jewelry gallery of unique designs.  This hard cover book has heavy stock paper pages with pictures in a satin gloss that are all in excellent condition and the glossy cover is in great condition, shows very little wear from storage.  It was published by ROYAL TAHITIAN PEARL BOOK and printed in Rome, Italy, June 1987.  Please note some of the pictures show an unavoidable glare from the overhead lights and camera flash. This is a very large book measuring 11 7/8 X 9 5/8 inches.

We are the original owner of this very unique collectible book and have owned it since 1987.  We have kept it all this time and only recently found it while unpacking some boxes. The boxes have been stored in a completely smoke and pet free environment. We are in the process of downsizing, therefore are selling due to display space limitations.
